Hearth members were out and about quite early this morning for our long drive.
A beautful autumn day greeted us.
The long bush walk in to the blot site was amazing, fog lifting to let in the suns rays, birds, lizards and wasps all around us; very peaceful.
Blot started slowly, with members feeling very relaxed, there was something about the way everything was unflolding, a real sense of time almost standing still.
Galdr was perfomed and I for one found myself feeling, hearing the sound just hanging in the air, echoing, it felt powerful and yet calming.

The Corn Mother rite was given, then the Corn Mother was placed in the river as an offering to the water spirits.

At the the end of blot and sumbel, a special prayer/poem was read out to Frey, in honour of the memory of a beloved family members passing. Anniversary.

A great day, leaving us feeling energized and yet peacefully at ease.

Hail Frey!
Hail Our Folk!
Hail the Gods and Goddesses!
