A few of us gathered to hold the Ragnar Lodbrok - Commemeration of the vikings blot.
It was a hot 34c windy day but also a beautiful day.
We had a family of magies watching over us while mama magie feed the young.
Blot was filled with laughs and smiles as we read pasages from History of the Vikings, hearing about the exploits of Ragnar and his kin.
Many of our folk today could benifit from books about how our ancestors conquered many lands, the seas and in all showed great courage doing so.
After blot and sumbel were held, we traveled to a near by park for a bbq feast.
We had a number of dogs come up to us during our feast, to which we shared with them, as well as the great number of native birds; and we chatted about current topics related to the hearth.
A really happy day.
Hail Our Gods!
Hail Our Folk!
