We as a hearth had been trying to get together over the past month for our Discovery of the Runes blot, but it was not meant to be, which for me was definitely a sign I should go solo (I have recieved a number of signs lately in this regard).
I packed my gear early and headed off before the heat kicked in.

After a long walk up and around a local bushland hill I settle under an old pine to rest and hold blot.

Blot was calm and felt empowering; for me the sacrifice given was hard, but freely given. Circumstances dictate.
Galdr was perfomed, then I pulled runes and did my reading.
Sitting and reflecting for a while, I then decided a few meads were in order; more reflection
.

I packed my bag and headed off to wander the bushland and visist the river at the bottom on the hill.

Our ancestors gave freely when they had little to offer.
Hardship makes the stronger of folk.

Hail the Allfather!
Hail Our Folk!
Hail the Gods
